*Having the audience data ready, follow these steps:
- From the PostNow site, navigate to Smartmail tab > Campaign Builder.
- Once the builder loads, the first part is selecting your Smartmail Marketing mail type. Give your campaign a Name and select the mail type (*Personalized Mail). Select your campaign date, and enter the total number of households you would like your campaign to reach.
- The second part is to build or select a target audience. As you enter the info, you’ll be presented with various campaign options and print formats.
- The third part is selecting your direct mail design template from our gallery. You can also upload print-ready files if you have them ready. Once the desired template has been selected, click the “Ready to Continue” button.
- If you have your customer database ready select the option “My Data is ready”, drag and drop the database file or use the upload option to find it on your file across your local computer. We run the data through the National Change of Address database and format it to meet best practices for personalized direct mail (*free of charge*).
- Data Retention Policy: This determines how long we keep your data on our servers for future use. We also remove files on request. By default, it is set to keep for 24mos.
- Add necessary campaign notes or special instructions for the campaign. This will get reviewed by the campaign managers before proceeding with the campaign.
- Agree to the campaign terms and conditions, then generate the campaign.
